Our 2nd Annual UAF Run for Recovery 5K was held on Saturday, September 9, 2006, as the kick-off event to Utah's Recovery Day.  Thank you to the 200 runners who competed in eight age groups! Special thanks to Frank Layden for being our Master of Ceremonies and to the Jazz Dancers for warming up the runners! A very special thanks to Mama's Faith Baptist Choir for their thrilling and inspiring performance on the Gallivan Center stage! Special thanks to Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon and Salt Lake City Councilman Eric Jergensen for speaking at our awards ceremony. Special thanks to Laura and Philip Hom from White Bison in Colorado Springs, CO for flying in for our event and to White Bison for being a major sponsor.
