Charitable giving is a special tradition in many families. Giving for the benefit of others can be a wonderful way to reaffirm the values and priorities we share with family, friends, and community.

The Utah Alcoholism Foundation accepts contributions and donations of cash and in-kind items or volunteer services at all of our locations. Approximately 90% of all the contributions go directly to the treatment programs. Donations may be tax deductible, depending on your personal circumstances. (For information on how your donation may be treated for your own tax purposes, please consult your personal tax advisor. The Utah Alcoholism Foundation is registered as a
501(c)(3) organization with the Internal Revenue Service, and is listed as a Charitable Organization with the Utah Department of commerce.

Support UAF without spending a penny more through www.NetFundz.com

Utah Alcoholism Foundation has great news!  Now every time you shop online with hundreds of national and local companies – ones you respect and depend on (like Wal-Mart, Target, Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, ebay, Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, and Delta Airlines), you could be redirecting up to 15% of that purchase to benefit UAF’s substance abuse treatment programs, and it won’t cost you a penny more!

You can redirect even more when you purchase internet, cellular and/or television services through NetFundz.  Participating companies (such as Qwest, NetZero, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Dish Network) have agreed to give up to $2 a month to UAF when you sign up with them as a new customer through the NetFundz portal.  You’ll get the same service, price, and monthly bill, yet because you ordered the service through NetFundz, they know to give back to our programs every month.

It’s easy to enroll.  Just go to www.netfundz.com, choose the “Start Here” tab and follow the steps.  As a member, you can view your “Giving Statement”, which tracks your purchases and the amount that was redirected to UAF.  Every time your account accrues $25 or more in redirected funds, that money will be sent to us on a monthly basis.  Please enroll today, and tell your family, friends and neighbors about the program, too!

Memorial Gifts: Gifts made in honor of loved ones at times such as Mother's Day or Father's Day; at the birth of a child or grandchild; or on a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or other special occasion can also be sincere reminders to friends or family members of how much you care. We also accept " In Memoriam" gifts for loved ones as a means of honoring them.

Wills, Living trusts, Life Insurance Policies, and other planning vehicles may offer exceptional opportunities for establishing a lasting memorial for you, a friend, or a loved one.
