House of Hope is a network of non-profit residential and outpatient treatment programs in SLC, Provo and Ogden, and has been serving Utah families since 1946. For over 60 years, House of Hope’s SLC program has offered treatment to women and children and currently operates six facilities near the U of U including four residential houses, the main treatment center and the Hope Center for Children. House of Hope in Provo serves 16 families of women and children at their residential campus. Serenity House in Ogden is a residential treatment center that has 25 beds for men and women. Position: FT CLINICAL DIRECTOR – Ogden, Ut.                                                               Status: Full time                                                                                                                       Wages: $40-45K annually to start (based on experience) plus an additional $6-10K in annual benefits                                                                                                                                    Hours: M-F, 8:30-5pm; occasional evening/on-call responsibilities                                      Requirements: Master’s level degree and LCSW or LPC licensure for a minimum of 4 years; 5 or more years in a leadership/supervision capacity.                                                                                 Other: Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.                         Description: Seeking full-time Clinical Director for Serenity House, a 30-50 bed residential/outpatient co-ed substance abuse center that has served families in Northern Utah for nearly 50 years. This position requires a Master’s Degree and current Utah licensure as a LCSW or LPC for at least four years. This opportunity is especially suited for applicants with ability to supervise and train staff, interns and volunteers while treating adult clients following clinical best practices and human services ethics. The person in this position must be proficient in clinical oversight of charting and record-keeping procedures; substance abuse and mental health groups; family and individual therapy; intern/staff supervision; and collaboration/outreach with allied agencies. Clinical Director must have the ability to carry a caseload while supervising the curriculum and therapeutic quality of service provision and documentation. Preference given to those with experience in substance abuse and mental health counseling as well as residential treatment settings; experience in supervision and management is required. This program has recently moved into a spacious new building and is in a period of growth and expansion and requires a Clinical Director with excellent therapeutic and leadership skills to meet the needs of growing client base. House of Hope has been serving Utah families impacted by addiction since 1953.This position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work and applicant must have current Utah licensure as a LCSW in good standing for at least two years. This position is especially suited for applicants who enjoy mentoring and teaching new social workers and children’s staff to achieve personal and professional excellence in the field of children’s mental health programming. This position is responsible for clinically supervising one CSW clinician and one social work intern as well as assisting 10 paraprofessionals who work with children in day treatment program to follow clinical best practices and human services ethics. Consultant may also do weekly group for mothers and children or occasional crisis intervention with young children. Consultant must be proficient in clinical oversight of charting and record-keeping procedures; family and individual therapy; intern/staff supervision; and collaboration/outreach with allied agencies. Preference given to those with experience in substance abuse and working with young children with multiple risk factors (and a sense of humor). Position: ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT                                                                             Status: Full Time                                                                                                                  Wage: $10-12/hour, depending on experience, full benefits package                                                Hours: 8:30-5pm, M-F, may require 1-2 evenings/month                                                     Other: Must be 21, pass BCI, drug test, must have reliable transportation.                                 Description: The successful candidate in this position will assist the House of Hope Admissions Coordinator in handling the general functioning of the intake and billing department of our residential and outpatient program for women and children. This position handles a high volume of calls regarding admissions and referrals to facilitate services, performs admissions, enters data into the computer system and works with outside agencies to determine eligibility for public assistance programs and funding options. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, high-energy and efficiency, good judgment in stressful situations, strong computer and data collection skills as well as good public relations skills. Prefer individual who is self-motivated, able to multi-task and be dependable. Basic computer skills in Word and Excel required. Must be able to support clients during stressful events, handle crises proficiently, perform urinalysis when needed and be interested in intensive training in the field of substance abuse. Previous experience with Medicaid, Workforce Services, nonprofit organizations, addiction treatment and/or high-risk populations preferred. Position: FT HOPE CENTER FOR CHILDREN PROGRAM MANAGER-Salt Lake City

Other: Must have or be working toward SSW licensure with at least 2 years experience in management and 2+ years in mental health or early childhood setting, computer proficiency, drug testing, background check required, bachelor’s or master’s degree in human services related field required                                                                                                                      Description: House of Hope, a non-profit residential treatment program for women with addiction issues and their young children is seeking a full time manager to supervise the Hope Center for Children, a therapeutic day treatment program for approx. 40 young children (ages 5 mo to 8 yrs). This position requires working with mothers and children from high-risk backgrounds with multiple issues due to drug use, homelessness, poverty, violence, abuse, trauma, and parental incarceration. The applicant must supervise 5-8 staff, volunteers and interns in creating an environment for each age group that meets the children’s social, emotional and developmental needs as well as teaching mothers how to parent appropriately. Must have a basic knowledge of children’s mental health issues and early childhood development. The position requires computer based documentation and service provision of residential and outpatient children including direct care with children and their mothers in individual or group interventions. Experience in social development skills, best practices in the mental health treatment of children, parent education, childhood trauma, working with children of drug addicted mothers, early childhood education, fundraising and leadership skills preferred. Prefer working experience but especially seeking individual with impeccable attention to detail, good basic math skills, ability to enter information quickly and accurately, and efficiency in organizing and overseeing data of client charts and billing records. Computer proficiency required; ability to be self-motivated and thorough with numbers and records for several hours at a time is critical since position requires working alone with data 60% of the time. Position: HUMAN SERVICE TECH – Evenings, Graves, Weekends – Openings In SLC, Provo & Ogden!                                                                                                                      Status: Part Time: graves, evenings, days and weekend shifts available                                        Wage: $8-$9 hour depending on shift and experience                                                                 Hours: 12-32 hours/week; Times depend on shift, location, and day of the week; staff must work at least two shifts per week, may have to work some holidays, please clearly indicate which days and times you are available with resume.                                                                                      Other: Must be 21, BCI, drug test, CPR/FirstAid, TB test, reliable transportation w/good driving record; must be able to climb stairs and lift 40-50 lbs and have basic computer skills.    Description: This position supervises daily activities at one of our residential facilities for women and young children at House of Hope in SLC and Provo or co-ed in Ogden at Serenity House. Also ensures client safety and monitors facility including problem solving, completing reports, maintaining order and generally offering support to residents. We are especially seeking mature, reliable staff with good communication skills who value making a difference in the lives of families in our community.
