As we prepare to move into a larger facility this summer, Serenity House is seeking qualified applicants who are currently licensed in Utah as a CPCi or CSW and seeking supervision toward full licensure. This position may be full or part time based on program needs and applicants preference but does involve some evening work in addition to the day time treatment schedule. This position requires the clinician to be actively involved in individual and group therapy and education courses (such as relapse prevention, addiction 101, life skills, etc.) to assist men and women who are in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. Preference is given to candidates with experience in substance abuse, group work, teaching abilities and strong communication skills. Hours: FT 40 hours/week, M-F; PT 20 hrs/wk, TWTh- 1:30-8:30pm Other: Must be 21, have BS or BA degree, pass BCI, drug test, have reliable transportation Description: Join our outpatient case management team at House of Hope! We currently have 2 open positions. The case management staff help women in substance abuse treatment gain the skills they need and referrals to resources to assist them in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in recovery and self-sufficiency in the community. This position requires strong communication skills and professional boundaries as well as competence in teaching groups, counseling individuals and collaborating with community resources. Both positions assist clients in maintaining housing, employment, time management, budgeting, stress management, conflict resolution, relapse prevention and accessing community resources. The part time position requires an additional home-visitation component in the evenings to meeting housing requirements. Case managers are required to attend staffing and housing meetings and to keep appropriate documentation. Basic computer skills and own transportation required. Training and supervision provided. Great experience for applicants interested in human services, substance abuse or social work. We prefer current licensure as SSW or LSAC but will consider applicants with BA or BS who are working toward full licensure. Status: Part Time Wage: $8.50-9.50/hour depending on shift and experience Hours: 24 hours/week; 2-3 days between M-F (8 am-4 pm) Other: Must be 21, BCI, drug test, CPR/FirstAid, TB test, reliable transportation w/good driving record; must be able to climb stairs and lift 40-50 lbs and have basic computer skills. Description: This position requires at least 2 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm to assist in the functioning of our non-profit residential program for women and children. Includes various duties including monitoring clients who are sick, taking clients to appointments, shopping, inventory, room searches, deliveries, checking in new clients, organizing donations, special projects, basic computer work and generally completing various duties to assist the Residential Coordinator and Support Staff Supervisor while the clients are off-site during the daytime hours. Good experience in residential management and functioning of non-profit organizations. Seeking hard-working, efficient, organized, self-motivated individual with good communication skills and initiative.
